Ok I had something bad happen to me, it was a culmination of a bunch of bad ideas.

Bad Idea number 1

    Leaving my Laptop in my car in my backpack

Bad Idea number 2

     Not making sure that the car was acctualy locked

Bad Idea number 3

     Not reading the fine print on the insuranve policy

Thats right I got my computer stolen, out of my car, at work, with most of my stuff on it. And whats even better unless my car was damaged the insurance won't cover it. so I just spent $800 on a laptop to replace my stolen one.

Society is a twisted reality,
they try and hide what was done for me,
when I try and say what he's done for you,
they shut me up and say its taboo.


Soldiers fight for the right to be free,
but thats not what they let us see,
While peace comes to the foriegn street,
Death, dispare, and hate is the media's beat.


They say we have the freedome of speach,
but for some they hold it out of reach.

If you don't say what they want you to say,
you best shut up or be ready to pay.


Branded a trouble maker by most of my kind,
an unbias person is hard to find,
Some one to hear what I've got to say,
and not look at me society's way.


I stand alone against the tide,
my streagth comes from him who died,
When the world spilled Christ's blood,
my sin was drowned in that heavenly flood.


Gone the Chains that held me down,
I try to spread his word through my quiet town.
Societies mold has already been broken,
Will you listen to what he has Spoken?

As a hot wind sweeps across the street,
it stirs the dust at a young mans feet.
Standing watch in a foriegn town,
No matter the danger he'll stand his ground.

Protecting a people's right to be free,
He understands what few will ever see.
What the media chooses to show to us,
is one sided and totaly bogus.

Killed while standing guard,
His death hit his home town hard.
A coumunity united in pain,
Our loss became Christ's gain.

Being a Marine was his job,
even more he was a warrior for God.
Protecting those who needed aid,
Because of this his memory will never fade.

What is up with our world, with our society, I mean seriously things have certainly gotten messed up around here.

Why do we live in a world were we need to conform to an idolized impossible standard. Why are we so focused on appearances that young women will starve themselves just to make themselves beautiful when they were already beautiful. How did we become a society so focused on outward appearances that we cause young girls as young as 10 years of age to be so focused on their weight that they will stop eating.

Why do we support the anorexic-ly thin models that have health problems because they are so thin? Why can't we see the beauty of people as they are instead of forcing them to fit into the molds that have been imposed on us.

Who decided that being so thin that we can count their ribs is attractive? I certainly didn't.

If we were all supposed to fit the same mold then let them start cloning, that way people can look like what society wants. Hmmm... doesn't this sound like nazi germany and the whole aryan race thing? If that is what its come down to then I say its time to change it.
